Thesis title:
Palaeoecology of Cenozoic mammalian fauna from Colombia: contrasting the Neotropics and the Southern Cone
Research interests:
Integrating modern statistical approaches to investigate the extinct and extant mammals of South America, in order to elucidate processes underlying the evolution of South American fauna, within a global perspective. I'm also interested in understanding specific evolutionary trends in the morphological specialisation and radiation of modern mammals by implementing Geometric Morphometrics and phylogenetic techniques.
